Sorry for the rant. But it's sooo false this whole dating crap. Yes, there are wholesale [removed]out there. But there are also ladies with a whole "other agenda" out there. But that doesn't seem to matter.
I am a fun loving, honest person who generally enjoys life. I love sport (armchair), play golf, and have a very young outlook on life even though the body is a bit knackered! Even though I might look like an "oom" (still can't get used to that!), it is in the head what counts. I have a very young and open minded outlook on life, (some would say 'grow up', but hey, what the hell!). I am a very affectionate person, total coffee addict (NOT instant), simple tastes, uncomplicated, dislike politics, enjoy my job (huh?), love most music but am a bit of a classical/hard rock nut. And of course - reggae. I have absolutely no fashion sense but am neat and 'up to date' (too old for that c$&p). I can cook. Seriously. And I am an animal lover. I abhor any form of cruelty. I am looking for someone who likes to laugh, enjoy life, get serious when needed and is tolerant of fools. I find dishonesty and cruelty abhorrent. Looking for someone to relieve my 'alone ness'. There is a difference between being lonely and being alone. I am also looking for someone who is relaxed, minimal baggage (at our age, everyone has some type of baggage. A 'small carry on' is fine! lol), a good sense of humour and is happy within themselves, doesn't shout at me when I change channels to check cricket, golf scores (then change back to what we were watching!).
