About Him
Although I am 51 , I look much younger. and in fact I feel much younger. So just pretend I am 40 and you will get the right impression. I am average looking and not tall, but if that's what you want then perhaps you should find another guy. I have a wicked sense of humour. I am endlessly curious about everything. I try not to take anything for granted. I am an architect and green design specialist by trade, but I write as well. I love the sea. I love my dogs. I love reading when I get the time. Bad grammar and spelling bother me.

If you want a rugby watching kind of guy, you are in the wrong place. I don't care much about money. It is useful but I don't chase it anymore. I am content with what what I have. Mostly I don't care what the world thinks of me. I do what I know to be right. I don't bow to society's standards. I am kind. I can be impatient. I am an optimist trapped in a realist's mind. I can be critical, but I'm working on it. I am fair minded and always willing to give people a fair shake. I don't believe that arguments need to involve shouting. I am sensitive, but I only show that side of myself to people I know I can trust. I abhor untruth in any format. I am brave and I try to be courageous. I can be funny, sarcastic and dry, by turns. When I become aware of something that needs changing in my life I will try and change. It takes me some time to open up usually. However I don't discount the possibility of love at first glance. Once I choose to be with you I will commit 100 percent. But I will call you on anything if I think you are out of line. I expect the same in return.
Recently I have been called back to my first love... Yeshua the messiah. I'm walking a bit of a stumbling route back to faith and I fail quite often. But his yoke is easy... I am totally OK with being single but maybe there is someone out there for me... Its all up to him.

I would like to her to be romantic, but funny. I want someone who is forgiving and understanding. She should have a great sense of humor, and a twisted sense of humor would not be unappreciated. She needs to take care of her body. It would be nice if she shares at least some of my interests. I would like her to like reading and the sea. She must appreciate me as I am, knowing that I am still capable of compromise. She needs to have come to terms with herself.
She needs to have the courage to just ask for something from me: no games are required with me. I will say yes most times. Any form of manipulation, subterfuge or dissimulation will not be appreciated, unless she is just playing :)
